Avengers: Doomsday has reached a new movie milestone with its large number of domestic pre-sales before the film’s December release.
Avengers: Doomsday Ticket Pre-Sales
According to the Global Box Office, Avengers: Doomsday has crossed $40 million in domestic pre-sales 100 days before its release in theaters. It’s the first movie to ever reach that milestone 100 days ahead of its domestic debut.
Earlier this year, Disney announced Infinity Vision, a premium large format theater certification. Domestic tickets for Avengers: Doomsday for Infinity Vision theaters went on sale July 20. Infinity Vision tickets will also be offered for a re-release of Avengers: Endgame later this month.
Marvel has been dominating the global box office recently, with Spider-Man: Brand New Day becoming the third highest grossing film of all time. The movie is also close to overtaking Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the highest grossing film at the domestic box office.
Avengers: Doomsday
Anthony and Joe Russo, who previously directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, return to direct. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is among the film’s producers. A special look at the film was shown at D23 a few weeks ago.
In anticipation of the film’s release, Marvel has an official ‘Countdown to Avengers: Doomsday’ podcast on Disney+, co-hosted by Ms. Marvel herself.
The runtime for Avengers: Doomsday is 165 minutes or two hours and 45 minutes.
Avengers: Doomsday releases in theaters on December 18, 2026. The movie will be followed by Avengers: Secret Wars, currently scheduled for December 17, 2027.
