Christmas at Disney is on a whole other level, and this year is shaping up to be a fantastic season!

This year, Disney is giving us plenty of new reasons to start planning. Disney theme parks around the world are shaking things up for the 2026 holiday season, bringing us brand-new entertainment, new character opportunities, and a lot of fun. Some parks are making tiny seasonal tweaks, while others are going all in with completely new themed offerings.

If you’re planning a Disney trip around the holidays, there are several 2026 Christmas changes you need to know about. We’ll touch upon confirmed parties and events, but we want to highlight some major returning items and changes that you might not have seen last year.

Magic Kingdom

We’re getting some special treats at Magic Kingdom in 2026! This year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (select nights from November 8th through December 22nd, 2026) will see the return of Carne Asada Loaded Fries at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe!

These French Fries are topped with chipotle queso, caramelized onions, avocado salsa, and queso fresco.

The Snowflake Ornament at Pinocchio Village Haus is also coming back. This treat is a coconut-eggnog mousse in a white chocolate shell with sugar décor.

We’re also going to see the return of the Hazelnut Carriage Cake at Cinderella’s Royal Table! This is a spiced poached pear topped with vanilla bean mousse and sugared cranberries.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom

EPCOT

Disney World has announced the Celebrity Narrators for the Candlelight Processional for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays — which runs from November 27th through December 30th, 2026!

You’ll see some familiar faces this year, but new narrators include Robin Roberts, Jason Kelce, and Lacey Chabert. You can view the lineup by clicking the link below!

Disney Announces Celebrity Narrators for Candlelight Processional 2026 at EPCOT!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

There’s still lots to learn about Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but a lot has already been confirmed.

This separately ticketed event runs from November 7th, 2026, through January 5th, 2027. Characters, special treats, merch, entertainment, and more have already been confirmed, and you can read about all the returning offerings below! As of now, we’re still waiting on reveals of new offerings.

Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Unfortunately, the gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will not be returning in 2026.

It was also absent in 2025 due to resort construction. Instead, Disney will have miniature gingerbread houses on display at the resort.

Disneyland Park

Over at Disneyland, Mickey, Minnie, and their friends are debuting new holiday fashions! Additionally, the park will undergo several ride overlays as usual, including the Haunted Mansion into Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Get ready for some seasonal snacks! Some confirmed treats are as follows:

• Milk and Cookies Tree-shaped Macaron (at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe): Green macaron with milk buttercream, filled with chocolate cookie dough
• Cranberry Crispy Chicken Sandwich (at Galactic Grill): Fried chicken sandwich with cranberry-orange marmalade BBQ sauce, provolone, onion rings, and arugula served on a toasted bun

That’s not all! A Christmas Fantasy Parade and the “Believe…In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Show are BACK!

You guessed it — there’s even more! Santa Claus will be coming to town!

JUST ANNOUNCED: Haunted Mansion Holiday and MORE Coming to Disneyland for the Holidays

Disney California Adventure

Disney California Adventure will see rides in Cars Land change! Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree will transform into Mater’s Jingle Jamboree — featuring a collection of seasonal tunes with Mater’s own original lyrics. It will also be decorated with garland, lights, and decor!

Additionally, some seasonal snacks are coming to DCA. They are as follows:

• Mickey Elf Shake (at Schmoozies!): Mint and chocolate cookie shake with green whipped topping and crushed peppermint candy
• Fried Chicken Cone (at Cozy Cone Motel: Chili Cone Queso): Chopped fried chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, chicken gravy, and cheese topped with green onions

Disneyland Paris

The new World of Frozen officially opened in Disneyland Paris, and from November 7th, 2026, through January 6th, 2027, the Disney Enchanted Christmas festivities are coming to the new area!

Here, guests can find traditional Arendelle decorations, a Christmas choir, some surprise royal guests, and more!

A musical celebration called Let’s Sing Christmas will also play at Disneyland Paris and will feature Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Clarabelle singing some festive songs!

Additionally, guests will be able to experience Santa’s Workshop on Main Street. They can also view Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade twice daily.

Why This NEW Holiday Announcement Has Disney Fans Booking A Flight

Tokyo DisneySea

Tokyo DisneySea is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and Christmas is getting pulled into the celebration!

The holiday decorations will incorporate the resort’s Jubilee Blue anniversary theme, including a special Jubilee Blue Christmas tree. From November 11th through December 25th, 2026, it will also feature the park’s 25th Anniversary “Sparkling Jubilee” seasonal food, specific popcorn buckets, and select merchandise.

Hong Kong Disneyland

From November 20th, 2026, through January 3rd, 2027, Hong Kong Disneyland will highlight the World of Frozen with winter magic, with snow falling in Arendelle alongside Anna, Elsa, and a walking Olaf!

The resort has also teased a new daytime castle stage moment, the return of Disney Christmas Live in Concert!, and the New Year’s Eve Countdown!
