Do you hear those jazzy tunes? If not, you certainly will soon! A beloved Disney World Cast Member is returning to the parks, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Carol Stein, lovingly known as Carol the Piano Lady, has come out of retirement to join the lineup of Casey’s Corner pianists at Magic Kingdom! A 36-year cast member, Carol recently took her place behind the Casey’s Corner piano, bringing decades of musical experience and Disney storytelling to the heart of Main Street U.S.A.

“Casey’s Corner is such a joyful, high-energy place, and I’m thrilled to be part of it. At the same time, it feels a little like the first day of school,” explained Carol. “Even after playing piano since I was four years old, starting something new still comes with excitement and a few nerves. I’ve spent a lot of time preparing for this moment, learning new songs and revisiting favorites I haven’t had the opportunity to play before. I’m excited to bring that music and energy to our guests.”

Carol began playing piano at Disney World back in 1990, at Pleasure Island’s Comedy Warehouse. Since then, she’s played at several venues around Disney World, including the Rose & Crown Pub at EPCOT…

…the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa…

…and we’ve even spotted her inside the rotunda at the American Adventure Pavilion at EPCOT, as well.

Now, she’ll be bringing iconic ragtime classics to Casey’s Corner. While she won’t have a set schedule as of now, you’ll want to keep an eye out for her the next time you’re in Magic Kingdom!
