Disneyland Paris has confirmed Rainforest Cafe at Disney Village will close permanently this year.
Rainforest Cafe Closing

We previously reported on rumors of the restaurant’s closing and the demolition of its Frank Gehry building. Disneyland Paris said in a press release about upcoming and ongoing changes to Disney Village:
While details of this new phase, including the concepts themselves, have yet to be revealed, it is worth noting that, as part of this transformation, Rainforest Café will close permanently by the end of 2026. More information about the changes to come will be shared in the months ahead.
They did not explicitly confirm the demolition of the Rainforest Cafe building, although they shared the above concept art, which could be for the restaurant’s location.
Rainforest Cafe is operated by Bertrand Hospitality, which will soon open Casa Giulia at Disney Village at the former Planet Hollywood site.

The unique Rainforest Cafe building at Disney Village is unlike any other Rainforest Cafe. Designed by Gehry, only part of it resembles a ruined temple in the rainforest while the rest is white with red-striped towers and a cone-shaped section.
It is the only Rainforest Cafe in France and one of only two locations in Europe. The other is located in Malta.
In addition to the Rainforest Cafe, the building once housed the Hurricanes Discotheque night club. It closed back in 2010.
Disney Village has been going through a years-long reimagining, with new shops and restaurants, plus major refurbishments and renames of existing locations. The last Disney Store in France closed permanently in January.
Legendary architect Frank Gehry designed the original Disney Village (then called Festival Disney). Many of his unique design elements are being removed, however, as the district changes.
Gehry passed away at age 96 last year.
