Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul, executive vice president of communications for Disney Entertainment Television, is departing The Walt Disney Company after eight years with the company.
Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul Exits Disney
Bulochnikov-Paul’s departure was reported by Variety and comes as Disney continues to undergo changes across its television and entertainment operations. She most recently served as EVP of communications for Disney Entertainment Television, overseeing communications for the division and its advertising business.
She joined Disney in 2018 and has held several communications and publicity positions during her time with the company. In 2019, she was named senior vice president of communications for ABC Entertainment after previously working at Freeform.
In 2023, Bulochnikov-Paul was promoted to executive vice president of publicity and head of communications for Disney General Entertainment. In that role, she oversaw external and internal communications and served as the division’s primary spokesperson while continuing to lead publicity for ABC Entertainment, ABC News, Freeform, and Onyx Collective.
Her responsibilities later expanded as Disney reorganized its entertainment operations. In April 2026, Disney announced that Bulochnikov-Paul would continue leading communications for Disney Entertainment Television, including advertising, while reporting to Disney Entertainment Television chairman Debra O’Connell and Chief Communications Officer Paul Roeder.
Bulochnikov-Paul’s exit comes during a period of significant changes at Disney. The company has made several leadership changes since Josh D’Amaro became CEO earlier this year, while also implementing multiple rounds of job cuts across different divisions.
Earlier this month, Disney announced another change within its television leadership, with Joe Earley moving into the newly created role of president of Disney Entertainment Television Franchise and Content Strategy.
Bulochnikov-Paul has also been recognized for her work outside of Disney. In June 2026, she was honored with the Medal of Hope at the Race to Erase MS Gala, where she spoke publicly about her experience with multiple sclerosis.
Disney has not yet announced who will succeed Bulochnikov-Paul in the communications role.
