Disney filed construction permits for Tomorrowland Terrace and McKim’s Mile House, the Disney Vacation Club Member lounge at Magic Kingdom.
Magic Kingdom Construction Permits
The Tomorrowland Terrace permit is for “General Construction” at 1355 Monorail Way, the Tomorrowland Terrace address. It was filed by Disney’s Facility Asset Management (FAM) team and contracts their in-house construction company, Buena Vista Construction. It expires on September 17, 2027.
The McKim’s Mile House permit is a little more specific. Filed by Disney’s Sourcing & Procurement team, it calls for Buena Vista Construction to “Provide labor, materials and/or electrical for construction.” It expires in one year.
Because the permits come from FAM and Sourcing & Procurement, they are likely for general maintenance, not major themed elements.
Disney has not announced any work on Tomorrowland Terrace or McKim’s Mile House.
Originally Plaza Pavilion Restaurant, the dining venue eventually became Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station. Once a quick-service restaurant, it is now exclusively used for dessert parties and special events.
McKim’s Mile House opened last year, replacing the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade.
Earlier today, Disney also filed an Adventureland permit, which doesn’t expire for close to two years.
