Why is a Disney popcorn container holding chicken nuggets in a Walmart deli? That’s the question TikTok users are asking after a user shared a video of the strange occurrence.
Main Street Popcorn Container at Walmart
Tagged with the location of a Walmart in Celebration, Florida not far from Walt Disney World, the video was posted by user @ainsleypla. She shows off the “Main Street Popcorn” container featuring Mickey and Minnie, sitting on a Walmart shelf with fried chicken nuggets inside and a receipt stuck to the top.
This type of container is usually used at Kernel Kitchen in the Main Street Confectionery for custom popcorn mixes. It’s not clear how it ended up at holding nuggets at a Walmart.
One commenter, @haybugs027, said, “lmfao as a confectionery worker I can confirm that this video is the talk of the week”.
Another commenter, @rebecca.radvinsky, shared a picture of a similar situation: fried chicken pieces packaged in a popcorn container and then put inside a plastic bag. Rebecca said this was taken the other day, apparently at the same Walmart.
It seems as if Walmart ended up with some excess Disney popcorn containers and didn’t want them to go to waste.
