Walt Disney World has announced the dates for the 2028 refurbishment of the Disney Skyliner. The service closes for about a week each winter for general maintenance.
Disney Skyliner 2028 Closure
The Disney Skyliner will be closed from January 24 to February 2, 2028. During this time, bus transportation will be available for the applicable resorts:
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Villas, and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
- Disney’s Boardwalk Inn and Disney’s BoardWalk Villas
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Riviera Resort
This follows the Skyliner’s 2027 refurbishment, which will be from January 24 through January 30, 2027. Disney recently filed a construction permit for the Disney’s Hollywood Studios Skyliner station, potentially for this refurbishment period.
