Disney Vacation Club Website Debuts a Modern, Refreshed Look

The Disney Vacation Club website has undergone a small update with a refreshed menu and other navigational elements, as DVC Fan reports.

DVC Website Update

The Disney Vacation Club website has an updated look with a refreshed menu and navigation, DVC Fan reports.

The changes to the Disney Vacation Club website are similar to the changes to the Walt Disney World website made last month. The menu across the top of the page has a more minimalist look, presenting five dropdown menu options from left to right:

  • Discover Membership (instead of Explore Membership)
  • Destinations
  • Member Benefits (instead of Offers & Benefits)
  • Plan Vacation
  • Help & Contact

Notably, the updated menu removes the “Welcome” and “Sign out” links at the top. Also, in place of a full search bar is a smaller search icon next to the “My DVC” option along the right edge.

Scrolling over each option shows updated sub-menus with three lists. The first shows the most popular and/or important options in bold text with icons. The center list has other options in smaller text. On the far right are two highlighted menu options with full images corresponding to the parent menu (such as new destinations, membership benefits, etc.)

As DVC Fan pointed out, the Disney Vacation Club wordmark in the upper left corner also appears to be slightly squeezed horizontally, as the Disney logo and Vacation Club text seem to be a bit narrower compared to their standard appearance.

Apart from that, the featured logo also drops the Mickey Mouse globe, shown below and as seen historically throughout other DVC materials and branding.

The update is mostly cosmetic, and individual pages of the website retain largely the same information as before. The homepage still features a large autoplaying video section just below the navigation bar.
