Disney Village is about to check another major project off its list as Disneyland Paris continues transforming its shopping, dining and entertainment district.
Disney Wonders officially opens September 22, 2026, replacing the former Disney Store with a new shopping experience centered around Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel. The store will feature character artwork throughout the space, including two large chandeliers displaying more than 40 artworks. Disney Animation and Pixar illustrations will also carry into the checkout areas, with some of those scenes will magically come to life with a little help from Tinker Bell!

The new store joins several recent Disney Village additions, including Disney Style, Disney Glamour and Deco by Disney, along with the remodeled LEGO Store and Sports Bar & Lounge.

More Disney Village Changes Coming
Casa Giulia will open by the end of 2026 near one of the main Disney Village entrances. The two-story Italian restaurant comes from Bertrand Hospitality, the group behind Brasserie Rosalie, and will serve Italian favorites with seasonal ingredients. Giulia Express will offer quicker options including pizza by the slice, focaccia, pastries and gelato.

Vapiano will also receive a major refurbishment beginning later this year, with work expected to finish in early 2027. Disney plans to brighten the restaurant, update its terraces and landscaping, and add a children’s play area.
Meanwhile, Annette’s Diner will reopen in 2027 following its extensive refurbishment. Disney plans to retain the restaurant’s 1950s personality while adding colorful booths inspired by vintage car interiors, restored jukeboxes and a refreshed dining room. The diner has been part of Disney Village since 1992; Disneyland Paris previously confirmed its refurbishment as part of the district’s ongoing overhaul.

The Pathé Cinema will also receive upgrades in 2027, including renovated auditoriums with recliners, new projection equipment, expanded food and beverage options, a Pathé Café and a new games area.
Disney Enchanted Christmas will bring new holiday décor to Disney Village this year, including Christmas trees, festive lighting, photo locations and oversized snowflakes inspired by Disney stories. A new interactive activity will have guests searching Disney Village for Disney characters hidden within the decorative snowflake designs, and those who find them all can pick up an exclusive holiday ornament at Sports Bar & Lounge.

That’s not all for the Disney Village overhaul! With work on the North Block nearing completion, Disneyland Paris says its attention will next turn to the South Block, continuing the new architectural style and bringing additional experiences to the area.
The next phase also involves the long-standing Rainforest Cafe‘s closure, which sits within the area expected to undergo future redevelopment. In a press release, Disneyland Paris says the restaurant will close by the end of 2026.
