If you are a Disney World local, then it’s likely you either attended or are familiar with the University of Central Florida. This is one of the largest schools in the country, and many students who attend go on to work at Disney World.

Well, now Walt Disney World is sponsoring UCF Athletics with the Disney logo appearing on the back of the Football helmets!
The University of Central Florida shared that this year the UCF Football team debuted their new helmets during a home game on September 26th. The logo sits on the bumper of the helmet and is a symbol of bringing these two incredible organizations together.

UCF Vice President and Director of Athletics Terry Mohajir shared, “Walt Disney World is part of the fabric of Central Florida, and we are incredibly proud to feature its logo on our football helmets. This relationship brings together two organizations with deep roots in our community, tremendous national reach, and a shared belief in creating memorable experiences. We appreciate Walt Disney World’s investment in UCF Athletics, and we are excited to showcase this relationship during our Big 12 opener at the Bounce House.”

Disney also explained their excitement for this new partnership with a message from Sivonne Davis, Vice President of Marketing Strategy at Walt Disney World Resort, “UCF is an important part of our community, and we are proud to expand on our longstanding relationship in a way that celebrates the spirit of Central Florida. We are excited to see the Walt Disney World logo on the Knights’ helmets as they compete for the Big 12 Conference championship and beyond.”

This partnership extends beyond two organizations and a logo on a helmet; it is meant to showcase the community of Central Florida and “celebrate the people, energy, and experiences that make Central Florida one of the country’s most vibrant regions.”
