The rooms and several areas of the hotel have been undergoing refurbishment for months now. The first phase of renovation refurbished all the rooms in the five outdoor lodges, located in the heart of the sequoia forest.

These rooms are available to book now for arrivals that begin on February 19, 2027.

Following this phase, the remainder of the rooms, along with all key areas of Disney Sequoia Lodge – including the lobby and shopping and dining locations – will be reinvented as an ode to wildlife. The hotel will remain open during the refurbishment work, which will be carried out in phases.

Disney has shared some behind-the-scenes photos of the artwork guests will see in Sequoia Lodge. The artwork is a collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Previously at Disneyland Paris, both the Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel and Disneyland Hotel have been refurbished. Disneyland Paris will also be receiving a seventh hotel to replace the Events Arena, as announced in January 2025.
