The Alice in Wonderland splash pad at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is back open after a refurbishment. However, we noticed that the Mad Hatter’s hat is no longer tipping.

The splash pad had been closed since mid August. The splash pad’s flooring was redone. The only change we noticed was that the giant Mad Hatter’s hat at the top no longer tips forward to spill water over guests. It has been bolted in place and water spills out naturally because of the angle.

Other refurbishment work at the resort includes the bus walkway railing, as well as the Grand Floridian Cafe.
