The Grand Canyon is on the leg of the railroad between Tomorrowland and Main Street, U.S.A. During the diorama’s refurbishment, black walls and animal cutouts decorated the windows.

Refurbishment is complete on the Grand Canyon diorama visible aboard the Disneyland Railroad. The lighting and sound effects were updated.

According to Cast Members, the diorama’s lighting was updated. The thunder sound effects were also updated to make it less loud.
