Viral videos taken at Walt Disney World show two guests arguing in line for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT.
Fight in Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Queue
Posted by TikTok user @MeluskiO, the video was taken on September 12. MeluskiO captioned it “Something else led to this earlier in the line.”
At the beginning of the video, two men are chest to chest, yelling at each other. A security guard soon rushes in and starts speaking to them. Though the men then separate, they continue yelling and pointing at each other. The security guard appears to also be yelling, and possibly telling one of the guests to leave or back up.
The guest in a white tank top removes his shirt, apparently preparing for a fight. The security guard then steps between them, and guests in the background can be seen quickly moving further away. Ultimately, the men walk further away from each other, apparently ending the argument.
As the security guard speaks into his walkie-talkie, maybe calling for backup, other guests start talking to him, likely trying to explain what happened. As the person filming pans across the line, another Cast Member can be seen on the phone. The video then ends.
MeluskiO set the video to “Conga” by Gloria Estefan, one of the songs guests hear on the ride. She did share the video with its original audio in her story, but what the men are saying is inaudible over other guests cheering.
MeluskiO then shared a video by user @Divinevalkyrie_ taken earlier during the argument. The man who would later remove his shirt was attempting to reach his family just ahead of the other man’s family. We don’t know if either family was “cutting” by joining the queue late or if they may have accidentally gotten in front of each other.
In this video, the fight quickly turns physical. The man in the white tank top repeatedly yells, “Touch my daughter, get f*cked!”
Though the fight is primarily between the two men, others in the families attempt to separate them or also participate in the fighting.
After several tense moments, the man in the white tank top and a guest with him are able to catch up to their group. However, the yelling continues.
Divinevalkyrie_’s video was taken early in the queue, while MeluskiO’s video was later, although still in the same large entry room.
We don’t know if either guest was removed from the ride or the park.
