Joe Schott, President of Walt Disney World Resort, Will Deliver Remarks at Cinderella Castle Tomorrow for the 55th anniversary.

Tomorrow, October 1, 2026, is the official 55th anniversary of Walt Disney World. For those planning to attend, the morning will kick off with President of Walt Disney World, Joe Schott, sharing some brief remarks at 8:50 am at Cinderella’s Castle in Magic Kingdom Park.

Jeff Schott replaced Jeff Vahle as President of Walt Disney World Resort earlier this year. Schott is a 40-year veteran of The Walt Disney Company. He began his career as a Jungle Cruise Skipper at Walt Disney World.

The Walt Disney World 55th anniversary collection is available at the parks and in addition to apparel and accessories, there are special edition pins and a Cinderella doll.

The 55th anniversary MagicBand+ is also available both online and at Walt Disney World.
