We spotted more colorful medallions at Walt Disney World, this time at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The new designs are themed to Moana and Lilo and Stitch.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Colorful Medallion Machine
The new medallion machine was recently installed next to an existing pressed penny machine. The machine has a subtle grass weave texture on the outside, along with brown wood accents, complimenting the typical aesthetic of the Polynesian.
As with similar machines found throughout Walt Disney World Resort, you can purchase one medallion for $10 or purchase all four medallions as a set for $35.
Moana and Maui Medallion
The first medallion features Moana and Maui posing in front of a blue background inside of a geometric border. The back of the brass-toned medallion features the logo for Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort inside a floral and ocean wave border.
Moana Medallion
This gold-toned medallion features a more colorful solo portrait of Moana posed with her hands on her hips in front of a pink and purple background. Her name and a scroll border surround her image, while the back has the Disney Princess logo.
Stitch and Angel Medallion
Stitch and Angel are featured on the next medallion with Stitch happily looking at Angel as she walks on the beach with a sunhat and a parasol. The bronze-toned medallion has a Monstera leaf border on the front and the Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort logo on the back.
Lilo and Stitch Medallion
The last medallion is brass-toned and features a colorful image of Lilo kissing Stitch’s cheek. This medallion has the same Monstera leaf border on the front, as well as the resort’s logo on the back.
Walt Disney World has been installing new colorful medallion machines over the past month. They were first spotted at Pirates of the Caribbean, before appearing more widely at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
