Cool Kids Summer ended on September 8, and Disney has changed the Magic Kingdom map to Fun for Families with Kids, but has kept a similar interior layout and information.

Fun for Families with Kids Map

The map’s multi-colored front features Tinker Bell, Peter Pan, Buzz Lightyear, Big Thunder Mountain, Timothy Q. Mouse, Princess Tiana, and Cinderella Castle. This map is specifically made for Magic Kingdom.

However, the new map does not have the Mickey ears on top like the Cool Kids Summer maps.

When opening the map, the “Tips for Adults,” “Day Entertainment,” and “Staying Up Late?” details have stayed the same. Guests can find information regarding strollers, lockers, the baby care center, and kid essentials for purchase. The map also explains Rider Switch, the My Disney Experience app, and other kid-friendly experiences.

The other side gives recommendations on kid-favorite food areas to try, including Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe and Columbia Harbour House. It also includes an area where kids can write down their favorite character that they met.

The only thing that has changed about this part of the map is the colors.

Meanwhile, the full map of Magic Kingdom has not changed. It reveals kid-specific attractions and has several character icons for kids to easily understand their surroundings.

The back of the map is now purple instead of pink and includes a different game called “Magical Mix-Up,” in which kids must figure out which item doesn’t match the specific land. The Cool Kids Summer map featured a Winnie the Pooh activity. However, it does keep the same “My Favorite Sticker” activity, where kids can find a sticker in the park and place it on their maps.
