A new roadway entrance to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will soon open following the creation of a new Floridian Way.

A new roadway entrance to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will soon open following the creation of a new Floridian Way.

The new Floridian Way opened last month with two roundabouts. As we reported then, the Grand Floridian entrance will be reconfigured. A sign on the roadway indicates the new entrance will open on September 10.

The entrance is expected to connect to the northern-most roundabout, located near an overflow/Cast Member parking lot.

In this aerial photo of the roads, the new Floridian Way and north roundabout are on the far left. The overflow lot is between the roundabout and the resort.

The Wedding Pavilion is also set to receive a new entrance south of its current location.
