Hey Disney holiday friends. Today I have something to share that might be a little early for the masses, but for those die-hard holiday lovers among us, this could be just the little bit of sparkle we need to brighten up the spooky season. Yes, I know we’re still firmly in Halloween territory, but Disney has already started sprinkling a little Christmas into the mix, and I have to admit, I wasn’t quite prepared for these new glass ornaments to stop me in my tracks.
Now, I’m not usually the biggest fan of glass ornaments on my tree. I have a very specific childhood memory from the 1980s involving an old, brittle ornament, a very unfortunate drop, and the sort of trauma that apparently stays with you for decades! So imagine my surprise when I spotted Dumbo, which caught my eye, and I immediately had to investigate. It turns out there are two sets of three, with each ornament sold separately.
The first features some wonderfully nostalgic Disney Parks attractions, including the Hippo from “it’s a small world,” a Teacup from Mad Tea Party, and Dumbo from Dumbo the Flying Elephant. The second set turns its attention to some familiar Disney favorites, with Stitch, Tinker Bell, and Disney Princess designs. And friends, I knew right then that these were definitely worth a look for anyone already making plans for the holidays.
