The new series of Disney Racers die-cast cars has arrived at Walt Disney World. The Disney Racers series relaunched last year with cars inspired by Disney attractions and characters. This new series was first released on DisneyStore.com last month.
We found the cars in Riverside Depot at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Once Upon a Time at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. They’re all 1:64 scale and designed for ages 3+.
Goofy Monorail Dragster & Main Street Express – $17.99
This set of two includes a Goofy-inspired Monorail and Walt Disney World Railroad-inspired train engine.
The Goofy Monorail is orange and blue, like Goofy’s classic outfit. His green hat is on top, with two long black ears trailing beside it. A white spoiler is on the back above a burst of fake yellow flames.
The train is mostly red with black elements and gold accents. Three sets of progressively bigger wheels are on the sides. Fake smoke rises from the chimney.
Cheshire Purrowler – $9.99
All the other cars are sold individually. The Cheshire Purrowler features pink stripes and a silver toothy front bumper. Wisps of smoke trail along the sides.
Toad Buggy – $9.99
Inspired by Mr. Toad, this car is purple, gray, and red with a yellow roof. On the front is a red crank above a blue bowtie and between two eyes.
It has big wheels with shiny red hubcaps. A black ball and chain is on the back.
Swashbucklin’ Speedster – $9.99
This car is shaped like a pirate ship with wheels, inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean. A black flag flies near the back. It’s mostly brown with yellow and red trim.
Cannons on the side appear to power the ship, shooting cannon balls to move the car forward. The car wheel is a classic ship’s wheel.
Grid Runner – $9.99
This figure looks just like a TRON lightcycle. It’s black with teal blue highlights and silvery elements. Orange flames appear to burst from the back.
The Happiest Cruiser – $9.99
The “it’s a small world” car is white and gold. The iconic clock face is pictured on the large back wheels.
Plastic flags are next to the golden driver’s seat. Orange flames rise from the sides.
