One year after the Disney Springs Paddlefish robbery, where a burglar stole thousands of dollars from the paddleboat-themed restaurant while wearing scuba gear, law enforcement has yet to make an arrest.

Paddlefish Disney Springs Robbery Details
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office stated on September 15, 2025, that an “unknown man entered the business after hours, took some cash and left.” The robbery was just after midnight on Monday, September 15.
WFTV 9 later reported on September 15, 2025 sharing additional details from a sheriff’s office report that the man swam up to Paddlefish, a restaurant housed in a building shaped like a steamboat at Disney Springs. He found a place to store his wetsuit and scuba gear before entering the manager’s office, where two employees were counting cash from the day to place in a safe.
The man forced the employees to go into a corner of the room and close their eyes. According to WFTV 9’s sources, he also tied up the employees.
He then stole between $10,000 and $20,000. According to the employees, he left within two minutes. They called 911 after freeing themselves. No one was hurt, and the burglar did not brandish any weapons.
Investigators believed the man then put on his scuba gear and jumped back into the Disney Springs lake.
The sheriff’s office also had released a picture of the man suspected in the Disney Springs robbery seemingly spray-painting a security camera.
One year later, according to WFTV9, law enforcement officials report that no arrests have been made in the case, there are no updates, and there are no suspects in custody.
