Crews are now tearing up the pavement where the Earl of Sandwich pop-up used to be in Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort.

The pop-up closed in June when the new permanent Earl of Sandwich location opened. Fences went up around the trailer and then it was removed.

Behind the fences, we can now see broken concrete and twisted metal. There are two excavators on site.

A large patch of concrete has been removed and more may be torn up and replaced in the coming weeks. We don’t know of any plans for something new to go in this area, but the trailer may have damaged the pavement enough to necessitate repaving the walkway before it reopens.
