The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge has different operating procedures this week due to refurbishment of the food court and dining room.

The Mara Dining Room Closed

As we reported earlier, The Mara’s food court and dining room are closed through September 25. The windows and doors of the restaurant are covered in paper so guests can’t see inside.

But during this time, guests can still mobile order food via the My Disney Experience app. There’s a sign with a QR code leading to the mobile order page and another sign pointing to mobile order pickup.

The tables with pickup orders are located near Pumbaa’s Fun and Games Arcade.

Other tables outside have coffee, water, tea, condiments, and cutlery.

Guests may see or hear maintenance activity in the area during daytime hours.

Named after a river that flows through Kenya and Tanzania, The Mara offers American and African fare. It operates from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
