The Turf Club Bar & Grill has officially reopened at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa following a lengthy refurbishment, bringing refreshed interiors, new furnishings, updated outdoor seating, and a revamped menu to the restaurant.
The reopening was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, welcoming the restaurant back after its refurbishment began earlier this year.
Turf Club Bar & Grill Reopens
The refurbishment of Turf Club Bar & Grill and Turf Club Lounge was announced earlier this year, with the work taking place in phases so that the two spaces could reopen separately. The Lounge reopened August 31.
The refreshed Bar & Grill features a noticeably updated interior. New flooring and carpeting have been installed throughout the restaurant, while the tables and chairs have been rearranged into a new configuration.
The chair cushions have also been replaced, and the space has received fresh paint and updated decor.
When entering the restaurant, the dining room has a darker atmosphere before becoming brighter toward the windows and outdoor areas.
The changes continue outside, where the patio has received new weather-resistant, wood-look tables and chairs. New high-top seating provides views toward the water and Disney Springs, offering another place for guests to dine or enjoy a drink outdoors.
Updated Menu
Along with the physical changes to the restaurant, Turf Club Bar & Grill has also received an updated food and beverage menu.
Many of the restaurant’s longtime offerings remain, but several new dishes and changes have been introduced.
New appetizers include Lemon Butter Shrimp, served with sun-dried tomatoes, feta, capers, and toasted bread. The Calamari remains on the menu but now features different seasonings.
For entrées, the Braised Pork Shank replaces the former Bourbon-Apple Glazed Pork Chop, while the Char-grilled Butcher’s Steak replaces the New York Strip Steak. The steak also features a different cut and new seasonings.
The Spinach and Mushroom Linguini is another new entrée, replacing the former Tempura-fried Hen of the Wood Mushroom. The Corn Flake-breaded Fried Chicken and Waffle has also replaced the previous Buttermilk-fried Herb Chicken, while the Pappardelle pasta now comes with shrimp instead of scallops.
The dessert menu has been completely revamped, with four new offerings replacing the previous selections. The new lineup includes Chocolate-Hazelnut Cake, Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, Salted Caramel Pot de Crème, and Apple Tart.
The Apple Tart takes the place of the former Seasonal Cobbler.
