The World-Famous Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood becomes the Terror Tram during Halloween Horror Nights. This year, Art the Clown from Terrifier is hijacking the experience and Ice Nine Kills has provided original music.

Terror Tram Starring Art the Clown
Art the Clown arrives on the Backlot with his bloody bag of presents in tow. But when he realizes he’s too early for Christmas, he hijacks the Terror Tram for his own ho-ho-horrific holiday tradition.
Tram Journey
During the initial ride on the tram, there’s a pre-show video of Art. Dressed as Santa, he interacts with the tram host and presents a creepy doll present. When the host tells him it’s too early for Christmas, he angrily shakes a snow globe, which makes a Little Golden Book-style book appear.
Called Every Day is Artmas, the book is read aloud by a narrator and depicts Art killing the tram driver and host as he determines to make everyone celebrate Christmas with him.
As we will learn, Art the Clown loves Christmas…a lot.
Scary Artmas
Guests then arrive and disembark at the first “zone” of the experience. They’re greeted by Art, Vicki Heyes, The Little Pale Girl, and other scareactors dressed as twisted Christmas characters.
Art’s Christmas Tree Farm
Guests next walk through a barn-like portal into Art’s Christmas Tree Farm.
This zone features monstrous tree farm workers among glowing Christmas trees (some lit, some on fire) as Art hacks his way through with a chainsaw, table saw, and other carpentry-tools-turned-murder-implements.
In a vignette, Vicki saws a man in half, while The Little Pale Girl is seen decapitating an unfortunate victim dressed as an elf in front of an Advent Calendar backdrop. Body parts are behind the calendar’s open doors.
The warm glow of a blazing Christmas tree sends guests into the next area.
The 12 Slays of Christmas
The next section is on the Bates Motel set, where Art has crashed a holiday party to celebrate “The 12 Slays of Christmas.”
The hotel doors have been painted red and green and adorned with wreaths. Art, Vicki, and the Little Pale Girl attack guests and partygoers in festive Christmas gear.
Sienna Shaw also appears in her avenging angel costume.
Art’s Christmas Cafe
Art happily shows guests his cafe menu as they enter this zone.
The Little Pale Girl and Vicki cut up your meal in the kitchen.
Guests walk through a dining room with a grisly meal laid on the table and bodies in the seats. Art grins and waves, distracting guests from a turkey scareactor around the corner.
Art Photo Op
In front of the Hollywood sign (which is bloody for HHN season), guests have the option to take a photo with Art. Norman Bates is also available for a meet-and-greet in front of the Bates House.
Hell for the Holidays
Next to the Bates House, guests enter Hell for the Holidays. Evil Snowmen swipe at them from over fences painted with neon graffiti.
Santa Art is Coming to Town
Moving into the War of the Worlds set with its signature crashed airliner, guests pass Art and Little Pale Girl shooting down Santa’s sleigh with a Flak gun.
In the plane crash set, guests encounter scareactors like Christmas Death Angels, Evil Toys, and Creepy Dolls.
Art appears, now finally dressed in his full Santa Claus suit, as stilt-walking nutcrackers and more menacing Christmas figures terrorize guests and actors.
Art’s Workshop
The entrance to Art’s Workshop resembles a gingerbread house. Santa Art greets guests outside.
Inside are piles of toys and presents. Behind closed doors, screaming is heard. The Little Pale Girl and Vicki emerge with pieces of a disemboweled, dismembered, and decapitated Santa.
As the experience comes to a close, Art and Sienna Shaw (in a fully white “Snow Angel” version of her costume) say goodbye to guests with chainsaws.
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood is September 3 through November 1, 2026.
