The docks where guests take rafts to the island are closed. “Wet Paint” signs were on the gates, indicating crews are refurbishing these docks as well as areas of the island.

We saw several crew members cleaning the docks on the island side.

The Disneyland website lists hours for Pirate’s Lair on Thursday, September 17, so the island may reopen that day.

This is the second refurbishment of Pirate’s Lair this year.
