Dozens of specialty pancakes, waffles, churros, and beverages will be coming to Walt Disney World in the coming months. We got to sample the Maple Bacon Churro Fries and the Churro-Misu Cold Brew early at a media event.

We learned that the culinary team had a “Churro-lympics” competition to create the upcoming treats. There were three categories: sweet, savory, and with ice cream.

Maple Bacon Churro Fries

We thought these Maple Bacon Churro Fries were delicious! They were soft and delicate, with the perfect amount of sweetness. They had a savory edge from the bacon topping.

Churro-Misu Cold Brew

This is like a tiramisu but with churros and in coffee form. However, we were not impressed. It tasted bitter with just a small hint of the tiramisu taste that may have come from a powder.
