The latest edition of the Disney Files magazine has teased a new quick-service dining location coming to Disney’s BoardWalk at Walt Disney World.
New Dining Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk
In June, Disney announced that Hurly-Burly would replace JellyRolls and that a new Basin location would open at Disney’s BoardWalk. The latest edition of Disney Files offers additional details about the experiences scheduled to debut along the resort’s waterfront promenade in late 2026.
Disney Files is a quarterly Disney Vacation Club Member-exclusive magazine featuring Disney news, resort updates, behind-the-scenes stories, and information about membership experiences and benefits. Digital editions and supplemental videos are also available through the Disney Vacation Club website.
The latest edition of magazine includes a section detailing some of the changes coming to Disney’s BoardWalk, with a section stating:
New places on the promenade.
Announced on Disney Parks Blog as part of the ongoing evolution of entertainment at Disney’s BoardWalk, several new experiences are set to debut along the resort’s waterfront promenade in late 2026. Among the additions is Hurly-Burly, a dynamic new venue of family-friendly fun by day (featuring interactive trivia and games) and a coastal cabaret for guests ages 21 and older by night, complete with live music, light bites and handcrafted cocktails. Also planned is the nearby Basin on the BoardWalk, a bath-and-body boutique that, while familiar to fans of Basin stores at Disney Springs and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, will deliver unique, interactive experiences, including a custom bath tea blending counter, a make-your-own-soap station and a soap-embossing press for a personalized finishing touch.
The Disney Files staff also has an ear out for details about a new, soon-to-be-announced, quick-service dining destination bound for the boardwalk. (Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, as that news may break after this magazine hits the press.)
While Hurly-Burly and the new Basin location were both previously announced, the mention of a “soon-to-be-announced quick-service dining destination” is the first we’ve heard about a new dining venue at the waterfront promenade.
Disney’s BoardWalk currently offers several quick-service options. BoardWalk Deli serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including sandwiches, bakery items, and other deli fare, while Pizza Window offers pizza by the slice. Guests can also visit Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs and The To-Go Cart for portable meals. BoardWalk Ice Cream, Carousel Coffee, and The Cake Bake Shop Bakery offer additional sweets, pastries, drinks, and grab-and-go items.
