Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course at Walt Disney World will reopen from a months-long refurbishment this October.

Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course at Walt Disney World will reopen from a months-long refurbishment this October.

After closing in May, the golf course will reopen on October 23, 2026. Reservations are open now for tee times starting on that date.

The golf course refurbishment included the renovation of greens with new contouring and elevations, playability updates to the green-side bunker and chipping area, upgraded irrigation systems, new bunker drainage systems, and enhancements to teeing grounds.

The Magnolia Course reopened went through an extensive refurbishment last year, including reimagining several holes into a new “Grumpy Gauntlet.” Magnolia, Palm, and Oak Trail all remain open during the Lake Buena Vista closure.

Walt Disney World Golf was recognized as the 2026 NGCOA Resort Course of the Year.
