Okay, we all know that dining at Magic Kingdom can be let’s just say it underwhelming. There are not many places to grab an exceptional meal, especially when compared to the food offerings at the other Disney World parks.

However, that all might be about to change because a brand-new pop-up restaurant opens in just a few days, and if you’re interested in checking it out, you should know that reservations open today!
The Diamond Horseshoe is turning into a limited-time pop-up lounge in Magic Kingdom for the fall. It will have an all-new menu, creating a frontier atmosphere. This new lounge officially opens on October 4th, but if you want to visit, you should know reservations open tonight. On September 29th at 8 PM ET, you can visit the Walt Disney World App or Website to make reservations for this new spot.

Disney has not yet announced exactly when this pop-up experience will be closing, but if you are visiting in the next several months, it likely will be available for you to enjoy. If you’d like to visit this spot and check out the new food and drink offerings in Magic Kingdom, we recommend booking a reservation. With any new Disney World dining location, it is likely to be popular and potentially difficult to grab a reservation for.

The last lounge space to open in Magic Kingdom was The Beak and Barrel, and it was extremely difficult to dine there when it first opened; even now, after being open for over a year, reservations are still sometimes difficult to find. We do not think this pop-up lounge will be as popular as The Beak and Barrel since that is a specially themed Pirates of the Caribbean lounge located near the ride, but any new experience will likely be busy.

The Diamond Horseshoe lounge will be offering a selection of small plates, cocktails, non-alcoholic specialty drinks, wine, and beer. So it is not designed to be a full sit-down dining experience but rather a spot to relax and grab some bites and a drink on your Magic Kingdom day. We are so excited to check out the offerings at this new pop-up experience, and we already know we will be booking our reservations tonight and bringing you all of our thoughts when we visit!
