If you’re in the mood for a Disney World sweet treat, one of our favorite spots is Vivoli il Gelato at Disney Springs. The place sells gelato and sorbet, but we bet you didn’t know they also have donuts!
Chocolate Pistachio Bomboloni
We’re big fans of specialty donuts, and a new one just dropped at a popular Disney World treat spot. It’s a new Bomboloni, which is an Italian donut that’s stuffed like a Boston Cream donut. Combine that with chocolate and pistachio, and that’s exactly why we went to Disney Springs as fast as possible!
If you head over to Vivoli il Gelato, you can grab the new Chocolate Pistachio Bomboloni for $6.25. This is a thick, round fried pastry filled with pistachio cream and topped with chocolate icing and pistachio pieces.

We thought the pastry itself felt a little stale, but it makes up for it with the flavors of the other ingredients! The pistachio cream is very generous, unlike some we’ve gotten from here before. It’s easily the strongest flavor here, and it also has a nice subtle saltiness and nutty flavor.
This looks so tasty!
The filling is a similar consistency to peanut butter, but doesn’t have the gritty interior of a traditional Dubai chocolate bar. The chocolate icing has a rich dark chocolate flavor that’s very much like donut icing. It’s not a very powerful flavor, which allows the pistachio flavors to really shine!
This is so good!
Unlike a Dubai chocolate bar, this doesn’t have a million textures being thrown at you. It’s soft and fluffy with a little crunch from the pistachio pieces. If you love the Dubai chocolate trend, you will LOVE this! It’s the best parts of the Dubai chocolate flavor. If you aren’t a fan of pistachio, though, maybe skip this one.
You need to try this!
