As invited media, WDWNT was provided with food and beverages, so the following coverage was hosted. As always, WDWNT will still provide honest thoughts on all below.
We were invited to try some menu options at Vivoli il Gelato’s new location opening at the Flamingo Crossings shopping center. Everything we tried was fantastic and some of the best menu items are exclusive only to this location.
Vivolio il Gelato – Flamingo Crossings Review
Vivolio il Gelato – Flamingo Crossings

Founded in 1930 in Florence, Italy, Vivoli is one of the city’s oldest gelaterías and continues to serve the same handcrafted recipes passed down through generations. Vivolio can also be found in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World, but today, we were invited to their new Flamingo Crossings location.

Large screens show a diverse menu of assorted affogatos, pastries, shakes, sundaes, Italian sodas, and more for guests to enjoy. Fans of Disney Park flavors like POG (passion fruit, orange, and guava) can enjoy them here at this location as well.

Just like the Disney Springs location, guests with food allergies can look at a key of symbols for common food restrictions, like vegan, gluten, egg, milk, peanut, tree nut, soy, and sesame. Guests are encouraged to ask the manager on duty before ordering off the menu.

A nearby display case shows the various sizes of the gelato cups and glasses. The colorful cups on the left are for those ordering to go, while the glasses on the right are for those eating at the location.

Mole Cola and other chilled beverages can be found in the small refrigerator nearby. Notably, everything in this location was shipped over from Italy, including the silverware, display cases, and fridges.
Tiramisu Affogato – $9.50
Tiramisu gelato with a shot of espresso, ladyfinger, cocoa.

The tiramisu affogato is exclusive to this location and is made with ingredients imported from Italy. For an extra $18, you can also add a souvenir cup with the purchase of any affogato.

The affogato has espresso poured straight over tiramisu gelato, and comes with a healthy dousing of cocoa, as well as a ladyfinger biscuit.

We thought this was delicious and an excellent substitute for iced coffee.

Pumpkin Spice Affogato – $9.50
Pumpkin gelato with a shot of espresso and cinnamon.

The pumpkin spice affogato was also excellent and we couldn’t get enough of the spice. The texture was so perfectly creamy and melts as soon as it hit your mouth. We thought it was life-changing; it’s that good.

The machine that makes this amazing texture is exclusive to the Flamingo Crossings location.

Pink Flamingo Shake – $10.75
Vanilla gelato, strawberry sauce, whipped cream, pink sprinkles.

We were able to watch our shake be made right in front of us. First, the strawberry sauce is poured at the bottom of the glass, followed by a large portion of vanilla gelato.

A heaping mound of whipped cream is then added, topped with pink sprinkles and a pink flamingo straw.

We thought the shake was fun and certainly geared towards kids and kids at heart. The gelato is creamy and the strawberry flavor is sweet and true. We also thought the flamingo straw detail was a cute nod to the area they are located in. We can’t wait to try more shake flavors!
