The snowy turrets of Sleeping Beauty Castle are in transport near Disneyland. They will be installed later this fall in preparation for the holiday season.
Sleeping Beauty Castle Snowy Turrets
A user on Instagram recently shared pieces of turret on the flatbed of a truck.
The video is captioned, “Went to lunch and saw the snow for the castle drive by,” and “I’m so ready for the holidays.”
During the holiday season at Disneyland, the turrets of Sleeping Beauty Castle get replaced with snowy versions of their counterparts. Last year, crews began installing snow on the castle on October 13, which was the earliest ever. All the turrets were then covered in snow by November 4, 2025.
2026 Holiday Festivities at Disneyland Resort
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will begin on November 13, 2026 – a week earlier than previously announced. It will run through January 6, 2027.
Mickey, Minnie, and friends will debut new costumes for the 2026 holiday season, and Santa will meet in a new location at Mickey’s Toontown. “it’s a small world” Holiday transforms the classic attraction with festive tunes and decorations, and Haunted Mansion Holiday remains open through the holiday season.
