After briefly opening this morning, Slinky Dog Dash at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is once again closed.

After briefly opening this morning, Slinky Dog Dash at Disney's Hollywood Studios is once again closed.

The roller coaster was closed for several hours on Friday and Saturday, then never opened on Monday, August 31; Tuesday, September 1; and Wednesday, September 2. On Thursday morning, it opened with the park for early entry.

However, within a few hours, the ride closed again and has not returned to service. There is a storm in the area, but the coaster closed before this hit, so it doesn’t seem adverse weather is the sole explanation for the downtime.

We don’t know the reason for the unexpected downtime, but we did see a ride vehicle on the tracks at the second launch and a nearby electrical panel open.
