Slinky Dog Dash Reopens After Multi-Day Closure at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Slinky Dog Dash at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is now open after being closed for the majority of this week.

Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios

After experiencing hours of downtime on Friday and Saturday, the coaster was closed all day on Monday, August 31; Tuesday, September 1; and Wednesday, September 2. On Thursday, September 3, it opened with the park for early entry.

At approximately 8:55 am, the wait time is currently 35 minutes.

We don’t know the reason for the unexpected downtime but we did see a ride vehicle on the tracks at the second launch and a nearby electrical panel open.

During the closure, Cast Members entertained guests with giant Pixar balls and hula hoops on the sidewalk.
