Guests will soon no longer be able to find Tabasco sauce packets at Walt Disney World, as they are now being replaced with Tapatío hot sauce packets.

Tabasco Removed and Replaced at Walt Disney World

During a recent visit to ABC Commissary at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we noticed that Tapatío hot sauce packets had replaced the previously available Tabasco packets.

The two sauces have distinct flavor profiles. Tabasco Original Red Sauce is made primarily with distilled vinegar, red peppers, and salt, giving it a sharp, vinegar-forward taste. Tapatío contains water, red peppers, garlic, spices, and other ingredients, resulting in a somewhat thicker sauce with a different balance of heat and flavor.

The change comes as new Heinz condiment dispensers continue to appear across Disney properties following the Kraft Heinz and Disney partnership announced in July. Since the announcement, Heinz dispensers have debuted at Disneyland Resort and aboard Disney Cruise Line.

The Heinz condiment dispensers at ABC Commissary are new. We have also observed Tapatío packets replacing Tabasco at The American Adventure in EPCOT, suggesting the change may be rolling out more broadly across Walt Disney World.
