Tapatío hot sauce is now available at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in Magic Kingdom instead of Tabasco, part of a resort-wide change.
Tabasco Removed and Replaced at Walt Disney World

Last week, we noticed Tapatío had replaced Tabasco at ABC Commissary. It’s now the only hot sauce option at Pecos Bill, confirming the update is rolling out across Walt Disney World Resort.

The two sauces have distinct flavor profiles. Tabasco Original Red Sauce is made primarily with distilled vinegar, red peppers, and salt, giving it a sharp, vinegar-forward taste. Tapatío contains water, red peppers, garlic, spices, and other ingredients, resulting in a somewhat thicker sauce with a different balance of heat and flavor.
The change comes as new Heinz condiment dispensers continue to appear across Disney properties following the Kraft Heinz and Disney partnership announced in July. Since the announcement, Heinz dispensers have debuted at Disneyland Resort and aboard Disney Cruise Line.
Though Tapatío is not owned by Heinz, they do have a distribution relationship.
