Let’s be honest… waiting in lines at Disney World is something you’d expect to do on your vacation. From rides and shows to dining at quick-service locations and shopping, there is a lot to do and a lot to wait for. But you’d never really expect to wait in lines at Disney Springs.

Believe it or not, there are actually quite a few places you have to wait in line at Disney Springs, but the longest line is one you’d never expect…
Disney Springs is home to SO many great shopping and dining locations, but you know what they’re also home to? A PhotoPass studio. And you may be surprised to learn that this location is actually one of the longest lines you’ll wait in during your time at Disney Springs!
Disney Springs PhotoPass Studio
Yes, really. It can be an even longer line than the one at Gideon’s Bakehouse, and those lines get LONG — trust me! I’ve waited 40 minutes just to get a cookie; don’t judge me. And although the PhotoPass studio is a little hidden, a lot of families pass by it and take the opportunity to take pictures and make memories!
Disney Springs PhotoPass Studio
These studios are unlike any other photo opportunities you’d find around the parks — these photos are taken in front of immersive backgrounds with some of your favorite Disney characters from their popular films! No reservations are required to take photos, and it’s completely free, and that’s why it’s so popular!
The Frozen Background!
Right now, the PhotoPass studio at Disney Springs offers backgrounds from Toy Story and Frozen, two VERY popular franchises. There are two Frozen backgrounds — the Arendelle castle and the North Mountain, where you can see friends like Olaf and Sven, as well as the Snowgies on the screen!

We recently went to grab some photos, and these backgrounds were so popular that we waited over 20 minutes just to get our pictures taken! That’s more than the average wait times at Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom, Alien Swirling Saucers in Hollywood Studios, Living with the Land in EPCOT, and Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom this past month!

We don’t blame these lines for being long because those photo opportunities were SUPER cute! So, if you plan to visit the PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs on your next trip, just be prepared for some long lines.
