Have you ever gone to get a Frosty and a JBC at Wendy’s, sat in your car in the parking lot, but just couldn’t find the right vibes to throw on? What if we told you there’s an album on Spotify called “Songs to Listen to in a Wendy’s Parking Lot,” and Wendy’s dropped it themselves? Yeah, we know that sounds wild, but stay with us.
We know it sounds crazy, but it’s true. Wendy’s dropped an emo album on Spotify, and it’s all we can listen to now. Before we even started listening to the album, we knew we were in for a treat from Wendy’s profile picture. It’s the Wendy’s logo, but it looks like she’s entered a new phase in her life (it’s NOT a phase, mom!).

The first song on the album is called “She Said She Didn’t Want Fries (feat. Matty Mullins)”, and it instantly gave us early 2000s vibes. Think Fall Out Boy! The second song is called “Salt in the Wond (feat. Chloe Kinnon)”. As huge advocates for the french fries at Wendy’s, we love these song titles.

Track three is called “I Miss the Sunroom (feat. Shane Told)”, and this one HIT. Imagine if blink-182 made a song about the beloved sunroom from Wendy’s back in the day — that’s the vibe of this song. Honestly, yeah, we do miss the iconic sunroom that was in Wendy’s restaurants! Track four is called “The Best Combo Meal on the Worst Night of my Life (feat. Beau Bokan)”, and man, is this one an absolute banger.

Unfortunately, the album is only six tracks, so we’re coming close to the end. Track five is called “It’s Not a Phase, It’s a 10pc (feat. Derek DiScanio)”, and if that doesn’t speak to the soul, what even does?! This song has such a catchy chorus and rhythm to it. It’s definitely built for the purpose of the album. Lastly, “My Frosty’s Funeral (feat. Kat Leon)” is the perfect closer. It’s like “Bring Me to Life” by Evanescence but for a delicious Frosty.

This album is an absolute banger, and one we will be using for those late-night stops at Wendy’s. You can listen to it here.
