The Treasures of Poseidon gift shop in The Lost Continent at Universal Islands of Adventure has been demolished.

This photo by bioreconstruct on X shows the spot where Treasures of Poseidon used to be, now offering a view straight across the Islands of Adventure lagoon to Marvel Super Hero Island.

The gift shop closed earlier this year, but construction walls didn’t go up until early September, after Poseidon’s Fury was completely demolished.

Nearby is Mythos Restaurant, which will permanently close next year. To fill the gap, Thunder Falls Terrace in Jurassic Park will become a full-service restaurant.

Universal has not announced what will replace The Lost Continent.
