Guests can currently upgrade to or soon purchase a Gold Annual Pass for year-round access to the new Universal Kids Resort in Texas.
Universal Kids Resort Adds Gold Annual Pass for $199.99
The Universal Kids Resort Gold Annual Pass is $199.99. The pass has no blockout dates, but the park is closed to all guests on multiple dates from November through March. Here are the other included perks:
- Free regular self-parking at the designated Universal parking areas
- 10% off Food & Beverage on purchases at all Universal-owned and operated restaurants and carts at Universal Kids Resort Theme Park and Hotel (excludes alcoholic beverages, mobile food & drink orders, gratuity and tax)
- 10% off merchandise on purchases at all Universal-owned and operated merchandise stores and carts at Universal Kids Resort Theme Park and Hotel (excludes sundries, Del Mar Games, Glove World Midway Games, Troll-ify Me! Experience, or Universal Kids Resort Photos)
The Gold Annual Pass is currently only available as an upgrade for existing Silver Passholders by calling the Universal Kids Resort guest services line or by visiting Guest Services at the park. The Gold Annual Pass will be available to all guests on September 29, 2026.
Universal Kids Resort
Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas, opened this summer and is designed with young children and families in mind, with gentle coasters and water rides themed to franchises including Minions, Trolls, and Shrek.
