Walt Disney Imagineering filed a permit for new signage to be installed at the Glob Theater, the former MuppetVision 3D theater in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The permit calls for Sign Producers Inc. to “Install signage” at 365 Cypress Dr., the address of the theater. It expires in one year.
Most scaffolding was removed from the theater in August, with supports visible for a new marquee. The marquee and clock tower will feature eye-inspired decorations. A banner will also be hung on the tower.
The Glob will be part of the park’s new Monstropolis land, hosting Welcome to Monstropolis! With Sulley & Mike. The show will feature a new song by composer Randy Newman.
Monstropolis will open in phases starting with most of the land in 2027 and the coaster at a later date.
