The Walt Disney World Railroad at Magic Kingdom is closed for a multi-week refurbishment.

Rolling planters partially block views of the track at the front of the park. They begin on the left and run about halfway across the platform, stopping near the middle of the station. The right side is still fully visible.
On the other side of the station, most entrances are blocked with ropes.
One staircase is open, so guests can access the new collectible medallions machine on the second floor of the station. A sign at the bottom of the stairs warns guests the Walt Disney World Railroad is not operating.
Another sign at the top of the stairs features the same warning. The doors into the station are unlocked, again so guests can reach the medallion machine.
The Walt Disney World website states the railroad will reopen in November 2026, although has operating hours listed beginning October 30.
After it reopens, it will continue operating in shuttle mode, which means it only goes back and forth between Main Street, U.S.A. and Storybook Circus. The Frontierland station is closed due to construction of Piston Peak National Park and Disney Villains land.
