Though Labor Day Weekend can lead to large crowds at Walt Disney World, this year’s holiday has below-average wait times.

Labor Day 2026 at Walt Disney World

At 1 p.m., according to Thrill Data, the average wait for attractions across Walt Disney World Resort was 30 minutes. By 2 p.m., it was 26 minutes and falling. This is below the overall average of 36 minutes normal for this time of day.

The peak average wait time today was 33 minutes at 8:20 a.m., which is above the overall average of 22 minutes, but wait times have dropped since then.

At 1:00 p.m., Disney’s Hollywood Studios had the highest individual park average of 34 minutes — thanks to high wait times for Slinky Dog Dash, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance — while Magic Kingdom has the lowest at just 15 minutes.

By Thrill Data’s estimates, the parks are “not busy.”

The highest wait time at 1 p.m. was Test Track with an estimated 95-minute standby time. Slinky Dog Dash was just behind at 90 minutes. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind were temporarily closed.

At 2 p.m., Test Track was up to 120 minutes while Slinky Dog Dash was closed (a recurring problem recently). The next highest wait time was 85 minutes for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.

The relatively low wait times could be due to the weather in the area. Temperatures have been high and thunderstorms have been rolling through all weekend. Today’s temperature in Lake Buena Vista will peak at 84°F, according to Weather.com. It rained this morning and storms are expected again in the evening after a full day of clouds.

Nearby cities are experiencing rain all day, which could keep local Passholders from visiting the parks.
