We’re less than two weeks away from the next big transformation of The Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom!
The Diamond Horseshoe
We already know that the popular Magic Kingdom restaurant is changing up once again, as it will soon become a pop-up restaurant with a brand-new menu. Reservations can be made in less than a week, and this new information we heard from a Cast Member will have you wanting to grab your reservation ASAP!
We recently visited the Magic Kingdom and spoke to a Cast Member at Liberty Tree Tavern who told us that Cast Members have been training for the new lounge at Diamond Horseshoe. There is NO drink minimum and NO time limit. So, this is a place where you can stay and enjoy yourself longer, unlike an option like The Beak and Barrel in Adventureland or Oga’s Cantina at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The lounge is more similar to the format of Brown Derby Lounge at Hollywood Studios. All that being said, because Magic Kingdom is still technically a dry park, they are not opening a full bar. They are only offering premixed specialty drinks from the menu.

Both reservations and walk-ups will be available, but reservations are strongly recommended because they believe it will be very popular! Reservations will officially open on September 29th at 8 PM EST. It will officially open on October 4th.

We know we’re talking about drinks, but there are going to be a ton of delicious-looking food options as well. Some of the items that intrigue us the most from the new menu include:
- Charcuterie: Cured beef, candied bacon, smoked pork, green chile cheese, smoked cheddar, and pickles
- Glazed Sticky Ribs with cowboy beans and jalapeño crisps
- Queso Fundido with Barbecue Burnt Ends with warm tortilla chips
- Sweet Golden Corn Fritters with cilantro ranch dressing and red chili honey
- Chipotle Chicken Tostada with queso fresco, lime crema, and pickled cactus salsa
- Mini Hot Dog Platter: Wrapped in pastry, served with tortilla chips and a side of queso
