We are working nine to five, and we cannot wait to finish work and head to the iconic El Capitan Theater to watch a beloved Dolly Parton movie!

That’s right, the 1980s classic 9 to 5 is returning to theaters in an all-new way. Here is everything you need to know if you want to see this movie in theaters.
Dolly Parton is coming to the big screen again once again as the beloved film 9 to 5 has been restored to 4K and is coming to theaters in October. However, on October 4th there will be a screening of 9 to 5 at the iconic El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles, which will be the very first opportunity to see the newly restored film before it hits theaters later in the month.

Not only will this screening allow guests to be the first to see the film, but the screening will also include “a special introduction with fascinating behind-the-scenes stories with the film’s producer, Bruce Gilbert.” Tickets for this screening are just $23 and include the following:
- A Reserved Seat
- 64oz Popcorn Tub
- 24oz Fountain Drink

Now, if you don’t live in California but still want to see this film, there is no need to worry. Starting October 9th and running through October 15th, this film will be available in movie theaters across the country, and a portion of ticket sales will be going straight to Dolly’s Imagination Library!
