It all started with a regular visit to Magic Kingdom and a typical restaurant review.
Pinocchio Village Haus
We stopped by Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland to do a run-of-the-mill restaurant review (we do them for every restaurant in Disney World frequently so we can keep you updated on the quality of the eats), and we left crying literal tears. Why? Well, there was one good reason and one bad reason.
As part of doing a restaurant review, our reporters will take photos of the atmosphere of a restaurant (you’ll see those in the “atmosphere” section of any of our review articles). It’s a great way to give you an idea of what the seating, ordering, and decor look like inside a dining location.

In our atmosphere look, we also like to include any fun hidden details that our readers would be interested in, and in the case of Pinocchio Village Haus, there’s a very special book. It’s called the Blue Fairy’s Wish Book, and it’s located in one of the dining rooms on the first floor. Here, guests are welcome to write their wishes so they can come true!

We started flipping through the book on our visit, and you GUYS, the things people write in this are so stinkin’ sweet, we were tearing up! “I wish to get pregnant with a healthy baby in 2026” started us out, followed by “My wish is for my family’s health and happiness, and for many more trips together to Disney.” AWWWW!

We could’ve stood here all day and read through those wishes. It really makes you feel connected to the other guests who have come to this happy place in the past. Disney is a place of magic and dreamers!

But unfortunately, this book wasn’t the only reason we wanted to cry. Also during this visit, we learned that the fun themed signs that used to be available for Pinocchio Village Haus guests are gone. These were previously available near the windows that looked down over “it’s a small world” and allowed you to interact with the ride’s passengers below. They had fun little prompts on them.

The signs made sitting in those seats that looked out over the ride extra special, and a Cast Member confirmed that they were removed because folks kept stealing them. WHY, guys?! Why must people ruin it for everyone else?!
