We’re just about a week away from being able to book reservations at Disney World’s new hotel, Lakeshore Lodge.
The new hotel is set to open on July 1st, 2027, but we’re already getting tons of details from Disney about what to expect from the new hotel. We’ve been following the latest construction updates and sneak peeks closely, and now we’ve gotten more info on one of the new lounges coming to the space, Branch & Bush. After Disney’s latest news drop, we’ve gotta say that dining here can’t come soon enough!
A Lounge On The Water
First of all, we’d be lying if we said we don’t get excited about Disney World lounges in general. You can find them all around the parks and the hotels, but that doesn’t mean we don’t get excited when there’s a new one on the way. That’s especially true with Branch & Bush, because it’s located right on the water!
Disney has said that dining here will offer incredible views of Bay Lake. No matter what time of day it is (more on that in a second), you’ll be able to enjoy looking out over the water. From the concept art, it looks like no matter where you’re sitting, you’ll get a great view of the water.
The (Hinted At) Hours
While we don’t have official hours for this spot, Disney has indicated that we’ll be able to “enjoy a nightcap” at Branch & Brush, which we’re hoping means this spot will be open decently late.
Most lounges in Disney World are open until about 11 PM or 12 AM, with the exception of the new Hurly-Burly lounge on Disney’s BoardWalk that’s open until 1 AM. Since this hotel will be decently far from others and won’t be immediately close to any of the parks (Magic Kingdom will be closest by boat), we’re hoping this hints that the lounge will be open pretty late into the evening. It’s one of our favorite ways to close out a great Disney day.
The Decor
Not only can we tell from the concept art that this lounge will be stunning, but from the details Disney has released, it seems like we’ll really have a lot to take in.
The lounge is inspired by the beauty of the changing seasons and will feature “rich colors, natural textures and an enchanting collection of artwork,” according to Disney. What’s really going to be the centerpiece of the space, and what we know will take our breath away, is going to be the color-changing chandelier that will cycle through the four seasons. You’ll be able to see it no matter where you are in the lounge, if the concept art stays true, and we’re so looking forward to seeing this in person in just a few months. Now, concept art can change, and we’ve seen it do so in the past, so keep that in mind!
Don’t forget that reservations for Lakeshore Lodge open for Disney Vacation Club members starting on October 6th, Disney World Annual Passholders can make reservations beginning October 7th, and all guests can make reservations starting October 8th. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all the latest Disney news, so stay tuned to DFB!
