The holidays are upon us, with Christmas inching closer by the day; the energy is picking up, and Disney World is ready! As always, Disney World is riding the holiday hype and treating us all to new merch drops!
If you are a Mickey Ear headband collector, now is the time to run to World of Disney at Disney Springs, where I believe I have spotted the cutest Christmas Mickey ear headbands. Ever. There are two new sets of Christmas Mickey ear headbands on display right now, found in their seasonal section. You will find them resting atop the cutest little holiday display, with a set of mirrors so you can see just how cute you look trying them on.
The first, I find, is a take on the classic Christmas dress. I know we all saw or wore one growing up, and these ears look just like it! They feature an adorable green plaid and a gorgeous velvet bow. This Mickey ear headband is screaming Christmas to me, but in a vintage style that I just love. The little gold rhinestones add to the design in a way that feels demure and elegant (especially the Mickey ones), and for a $ 38.99 price point, it is exactly what I am looking for.
The second also sports a classic Christmas vibe, referencing all of those vintage embroidered details you would find on Christmas sweaters and ornaments. The ears themselves have that pleather material that’s become popular on Mickey Ear Headbands recently, which keeps them a bit thinner and a bit more durable. Perfect for putting in the long hours during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. There are so many cute little details on the ears, with Mickey, the castle, the present, the snowflake, and the Mickey mistletoe. However, even with all that, I think the best part about this set is the bow. While small, the velvet with the little green trim on it reminds me so much of the ribbon I used to wrap my Christmas gifts each year. Not only that, but it’s got a pointed shape that I find to be pretty unique.
This year’s holiday headbands are a certified must-buy from me. The only problem is I really find it hard to choose a favorite this year. While it is certainly close, I think the classic plaid wins me over. With such an elegant design, it goes well as a statement accessory- or as part of a set. This year’s holiday merch has really been giving me vintage vibes this year and these fit right in.
